India and Uzbekistan continue to impress in semi-finals and will fight it out for top spot in tomorrow’s final day at World Boxing Cup Finals – Greater Noida 2025

India and Uzbekistan continued to lead the way on day four of the World Boxing Cup Finals – Greater Noida 2025 with six and four wins respectively in 18 semi-final bouts.

It means India has eight women and seven men in tomorrow’s finals while Uzbekistan will contest six of the men’s finals and three of the women’s.

Six of the finals will see the two nation’s clash at W48kg, W70kg, W80kg+, M50kg, M55kg and M90kg+ as they battle it out to see who will finish top of the medal table.

Other nations that will feature in tomorrow’s finals after a series of strong performances today include Chinese Taipei which enjoyed three victories courtesy of Yi-Xuan Guo (W51kg), and the bronze medal winning pair from Paris 2024, Wu Shih-Yi (W57kg) and Chen Nien-Chin (W65kg).

Other countries that enjoyed success today and will feature in tomorrow’s finals include England (3), Poland (2), Italy (2), Kazakhstan (2), Japan (2), Kyrgyzstan (1) and Australia (1).

The final day of action will see twenty finals across two sessions starting at 14:00 (IST) and 18:00 (IST), as well as medal ceremonies for every weight class.
