Home nation India tops the medal table with nine golds on superb final day of action at World Boxing Cup Finals – Greater Noida 2025

After five days of thrilling action and more than 80 top-class bouts, the World Boxing Cup Finals – Greater Noida 2025 finished today with the home nation, India, topped the medal table with nine gold medals.

The next best performing nation was Uzbekistan which finished with four gold medals from nine finals.

On a day of high-quality action, which featured six head-to-head finals between the two top performing nations, India emerged victorious in the three women’s categories with wins for Minakshi Minakshi (W48kg), Nikhat Zareen (W51kg) and Nupur Nupur (W80kg+).

But the Uzbek men levelled the duels at 3-3 with victories for Jalilov Asilbek (M50kg), Olimov Samandar (M55kg) and Mamasoliev Khalimjon (M90kg+).

The only other country to win more than one final on the day was England with victories for Oladimeji Shittu (M80kg) and Isaac Okoh (90kg+). Australia, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan and Poland all came away with one gold medal.
