Day six of the 2026 World Boxing Futures Cup saw more than fifty quarter final bouts take place as boxers fought for a semi-final spot.
It means that 56 boxers are guaranteed at least a bronze medal as the competition heads into its final two days of action.
Uzbekistan’s boxers continued their good form on Friday and picked-up seven wins to add to the semi-final place it secured on day five. India and USA saw five of their athletes progress to Saturday’s semi-finals and were the second-best performing nations on the day.
China, France, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Japan and Morocco earnt three wins while England, Mexico, Romania, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan trailed closely with two of their boxers respectively having their hand raised.

Tomorrow (14 March) will feature 38 semi-final bouts held across two rings during two sessions, starting at 11:00 and 17:00 (GMT+7) respectively.

The 2026 World Boxing Futures Cup is part of the qualification pathway for this November’s Youth Olympic Games 2026 in Dakar, Senegal and is open to boxers born between 1 January 2008 and 31 December 2009.
