World Boxing can confirm that the forthcoming World Boxing Futures Cup in Bangkok will go ahead as planned, from 6-15 March 2026 (with boxing taking place from 8-15 March 2026), despite the current disruptionto air travel that has resulted from recent events in the Middle East.
Plans for the competition are continuing on-site in Bangkok and World Boxing is working closely with the Thailand Boxing Association, which is hosting the competition, to ensure everything continues to progress and that together we can a deliver a high-quality event for all participants.
World Boxing is also liaising with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to ensure they are fully aware of all developments, as the World Boxing Futures Cup is an U19 competition and part of the pathway to the Youth Olympic Games that will be held in Dakar later this year.
