Twenty gold medals won on final day of boxing in Warsaw

The World Boxing Cup – Felix Stamm: Poland 2025 came to an end today in Arena COS Torwar, in Warsaw. Medals were distributed in all twenty weight categories, ten men’s and ten women’s, following a week full of world-class boxing action.

Uzbekistan picked up the most gold medals with six but were trumped in the overall medal standings by the hosts, Poland, who won a total of 18 medals.

The remaining top five nations in the overall medal standings were Uzbekistan and Türkiye with nine, Italy with seven and Mongolia with five.

Finland and Kosovo only won one medal each but both were golds thanks to wins from Pihla Kaivo-Oja and Donjeta Sadiku.

Attention now turns to the World Boxing Cup—Astana, Kazakhstan 2025, taking place from 30 June – 6 July 2025. The competition will take place in Beeline Arena, which has previously hosted numerous major events, across a wide range of sports.

Designed to enhance the global boxing calendar, the World Boxing Cup series plays a crucial role in shaping the future of Olympic-style boxing, with ranking points distributed to boxers based on their performance throughout the events.
