World Boxing now has 152 member National Federations.
These 152 National Federations are made-up of 123 ‘Full Members’; one ‘Associate Member’ and 28 ‘Endorsed Members’.
Those with ‘Full Member’ status are eligible to vote in World Boxing’s next annual Congress in 2026 while ‘Endorsed Members’ will have their full membership applications voted on at the next Congress, having been recommended by the Executive Board. GB Boxing has ‘Associate Member’ status and is eligible to participate in Congress but not have a vote.

All boxing National Federations are invited to apply to join World Boxing which is a membership governed organisation.

At its inaugural Congress in November 2023, World Boxing had 27 members across all five continents that take part in international boxing. By January 2025, World Boxing’s membership had grown to 60 National Federations.
Following an amendment to World Boxing’s Statutes, which was agreed at its second Congress in Colorado Springs, USA, on 3 November 2024, World Boxing operates a “One Country, One Vote” policy whereby each National Federation is entitled to a single, equal vote on all matters that come before Congress for consideration.
