Kazakhstan, India and Brazil shine on day three in Astana

Day three of the World Boxing Cup: Kazakhstan – Astana 2025 wrapped up today with 44 bouts taking place across two sessions.

Kazakhstan (8), India (6) and Brazil (5) earned the most wins on the day, which included 14 quarter final matchups.

Finland’s Pihla Kaivo-Oja put on a show with a flurry of punches that earned her a victory by RSC in the women’s 51kg, while USA’s Morelle McCane also secured an RSC win in the women’s 65kg.

36 quarter final bouts will take place across two sessions on day four, the first starting at 14:00 (UTC+5) and the second at 19:00 (UTC+5).
