
Thirty bouts took place today at the World Boxing Cup – Felix Stamm: Poland 2025, which runs from May 12 – 16, 2025.
Arena COS Torwar, in Warsaw, hosted the action that included five women’s and five men’s weight classes on day two. Winners from today have guaranteed themselves bronze medals by reaching semi-finals, due to take place on Thursday.
Poland continued their strong start to the event with seven wins on the second day of competition, followed by Uzbekistan with six and Italy with five. Italy’s Alfred Cromwell Commey delivered the only stoppage of the day, ending his fight in the second round in the men’s 80kg.
Paris Olympian, Aneta Rygielska, won her quarter final matchup on home soil against Gizem Ozer, of Türkiye, by 3:2 split decision in the women’s 60kg. Following their success hosting the last World Boxing Cup, Brazil picked up its first win in this competition courtesy of a 5:0 victory by Barbara Maria Dos Santos over France’s Andrea Badin.

Wednesday’s action will see another thirty bouts, with more places in the semi-finals up for grabs.
